Notable Transactions

  • Represented a financier as part of a team that was involved in the BWP 1 billion syndicated loan to Debswana Diamond Company by Barclays Bank of Botswana, Stanbic Bank of Botswana Limited and Rand Merchant Bank;
  • Acted for First National Bank Botswana on their BWP300 million Medium Term Bond Supplement;
  • Represented the African Development Bank in setting up a EUR2 billion Commercial Paper Programme and its granting of the Short-Term Euro Paper (STEP) label;
  • Advisor to Lucara Diamond Corporation in its listing on the Botswana Stock Exchange ; and
